    And this is where it starts. Rather than a total ban, it's much easier to ramp up the police response, raise the evidence threshold by about 100 metres and essentially bully these groups out of business. This appears to be the official strategy and I bet you the orders have come from the very top i.e. the NPCC and the Home Office.

    The checklist issued by the PSNI is exhaustive and so unbelievably complex that the more casual gibbon will simply give up and stop hunting because their efforts will never pass muster.

    Add in Shane Brannigan's declaration of war on the entire world and you are looking towards the endgame for this nonsense. Patience from the authorities has run out.

      Shane Brannigan has gone from hero to zero in a very short space of time.

      He announces he’s never hunting again and is starting to look at ways of preventing abuse taking place (by educating kids/parents).

      It all sounds rather positive but then he enlists the help of an egomaniac from Belfast who clearly loves to talk but has got very little knowledge or substance and therefore, cannot walk the walk.

      Then this angry orangutan makes a public fool of himself before Brannigan then reverts back to his old self by enlisting the help of chav knuckle draggers to intimidate a vulnerable woman (over a fictional 14 year old on an adult dating site). It actually surprised me that he even considers getting involved with that utter bellend from Children’s Pride.

      Whatever aspirations Shane had of going into schools or being looked upon as ‘somewhat respectable’ have now evaporated. The authorities will have seen his and the orangutan’s latest toxic shenanigans.

      Shane Brannigan is finished. His dream is over. He has shot himself in the foot through his bad choices and he needs to get back to his day job and forget his ‘moral crusade.’

      Brannigan has hit the self-destruct button and is losing respect hand over fist. The police have warned him he faces arrest if he carries on ranting and threatening people, so that's part of the reason why he has abandoned his caravan and is now apparently on the lam.

      He is turning into a potential mental health issue and is arguably a threat to the public at large. he needs to be brought in.

    Brannigan is always slating others teams for bad stings he's the first to pipe up and have his opinion on the way other's conduct stings. How dare he slate others. after this he needs to hang his head in shame but he won't cos that's not what narisicic people do they put the blame on other people.     Fripps is a power hungry idiot that only got into 'hunting' because he saw how other idiots like Stinson Hunter were worshipped by the gullibe fools that follow hunting pages.

    This is why he talks all the time on cam. This is why he slags off the police and gives it the big 'I am invincible' style repartee on every sting. This is why he wears those shorts as a 'gimmick.' This is why he wears those knife resistant police style gloves like he's Darth Vadar. This is why, as you state, he chases people around with zero ability/authority. He is serious liability.

    He even laughs at how much money he cost Nottinghamshire Police, which speaks volumes about his mentality.

    The sooner the authorities stop these morons, the better. I'm also in favour of them being held accountable for many of their past actions - they all belong in prison.

    I agree. I've seen more than one group excerise a 'hot pursuit' of a suspect, and all without legal authority or any formal advanced driver training.

    How dare these feral vigilante scumbags potentially risk the lives of innocent people – all in the name of their own self-glorfication.

    It's not even like the majority of suspects are real offenders in the 'high risk to children' sense either. Mainly they are lonely, idiotic, or mentally challenged people that made the stupid mistake of talking to the wrong profiles on adult dating sites (18/19 year old profiles that turned out to be 'underage' in the chat log).

    I've seen plenty of incedents by these vigilantes that could potentially warrant a prison sentence and I hope the authorities now clamp down with more purpose.

      I'd love to see the full stats on how many real children have been 'saved' (as vigilantes claim they are about) by these self appointed law enforcers over the last decade.

      I'm betting it is less than 5% of the total of stings performed. I can't get over how dumb the public are in believing vigilante's rhetoric.

      If the vigilantes have saved any real kids it will be an extremely low percentage. When they make out teenagers play kiss chase and still believe in father Christmas it just sounds so pathetic i actually cringe. Surely the followers can't be that stupid surely some of them have there own teenager's so they would know it's bullshit. I can't understand why these vigilantes have so many supporters that never question there motives but then when i read some of the comments on stings etc i know why they are as uneducated and thick as the vigilantes themselves.

    Great news that at least one of the vigilantes will be prosecuted. 110 men arrested and none charged says it all.
    Jimmy Savile died an innocent man he was never found guilty of anything. Funny how people all came forward after his death to get as much money as possible then more liars came out the woodwork.
    Sir Jim was a good man he did alot for charitys and made alot of people happy may he rest in peace.
