I've seen various vigilantes trying to act like they are police in the past, the big guy from Unknown TV used to hang his mobile phone on his jacket lapel like it was a police radio and he also handcuffed a suspect once. I've also seen the guy from CCUK hanging two radios on his front along with his bodycam - again coming across like someone who wants to emulate police.

The latest sting on Predator Exposure is certainly revealing. Their leader mentions 'class' and shows a clear disdain for the alleged offender due to that, then later mentions how he himself doesn't have any parents.

DeleteI don't know his name but the main guy seems to play to the camera a lot and seems to be a 'loose cannon.'
I also note he has a facebook page dedicated to selling merchandise related to his hunting group. Other hunters have done this before also, 'monetising' the subject of child abuse.
Throws the integrity of their motivations into question in my view.

The latest post from Mr Brannigan shows his desire (once again) to educate kids. Perhaps it's dawned on his that 'prevention if often better than cure,' but even so, does he really think kids don't already get educated on this subject in schools?
ReplyDeleteThis was discussed long ago when Stinson Hunter was talking about going down the same route, taking things 'to the next level,' but it probably hasn't dawned on either of them that they are in fact, completely out of their depth in terms of becoming an 'educator.'
Brannigan clams to know a lot, but I very much doubt he possesses any knowledge that the education authorities do not.
