monett man pleads guilty to obscenity; possessed cartoons of child porn

"SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – David M. Ketchmark, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Monett, Mo., man pleaded guilty in federal court today to possessing cartoons that depicted child pornography.
CB, 36, of Monett, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge James C. England to possessing obscenity.
On Aug. 8, 2011, B’s wife contacted the Monett Police Department and reported that she had found files she believed to be child pornography on a computer used by her husband. Police officers executed a search warrant at B’s residence and seized his computer."
"The depictions clearly [sic] lack any literary, artistic, political or scientific value."
