Paedophile [sic] fears are voiced at meeting
"RESIDENTS [i.e. ignorant and nosey lynch mob] in a Portadown housing development say they want the truth about rumours that a number of sex offenders are living in the area.
The subject was raised at a public meeting set up to allow Clendinning residents to discuss issues in the area. Last Wednesday’s meeting in Vinecash Community Centre was attended by the PSNI’s community policing team.
A concerned mother [i.e. gobby one of the ignorant and nosey lynch mob] contacted the Portadown Times after the meeting to implore the police to speak out on the matter.
She said, “I’m not one for joining in a witch hunt [hahahaha]. What I’d like is for police to either confirm or deny the (paedophile [sic]) rumours.
“If they don’t, innocent people could get hurt. [then keep your noses out] By saying nothing we’re none the wiser as to whether there are paedophiles [sic] living in the area who are a threat to our children [sic]. It would be of particular concern to me as three of my children are 13 and under.
“All I want to know is if there is some truth in this. Since the meeting which took place on Wednesday night there have been rumours going about that there are three different paedophiles [sic] in the area.
“One person has posted details about one of the men on Facebook [ah] and it has spiralled from there. I don’t know whether it’s people jumping to conclusions but I think it’s important for police to set things straight.”
Another Clendinning resident claimed there was at least one paedophile [sic] living in the area.
The woman said, “Parents are keeping their children indoors because of this man. Police are telling us nothing. He has his human rights, but what about ours?" [so thick and dangerous, it hurts]
