Paedophile Mice 'Kept At Bay By Tears Of Potential Victims'
"Paedophile mice are kept at bay by the tears of their potential victims, research has shown.
The tears contain a pheromone signalling chemical that puts off the sex-mad males, scientists discovered.
Two-week old pre-pubescent mice produce 50 times more of the pheromone, called ESP22, than adults."

Treatment of child porn offenders, like any addiction, remains elusive
"Collectors of child pornography for sexual gratification or profit face strong criminal penalties and societal outrage.
But treatment for anyone who feels compelled to look at erotic images of children is complicated and no sure thing, psychologists and criminologists say.
"Treatment can be effective if a person truly wants to get better," said Medford psychologist Dan Pollets.
Treatments might include therapies such as counseling, 12-step programs and medication."
