"Nathan Murray attacked the convicted sex offender who had been friends for a number of years.

Vigilante Nathan Murray 'harboured a grudge' against his victim.

A vigilante with 'an appetite for violence' was jailed after punching a convicted paedophile [sic] in a street attack."

"Nathan Murray, 21, admitted unlawfully wounding the man, who was not named in court, on the afternoon of Sunday, June 22."

" His victim, a convicted sex offender, decided to give Murray a wide berth and tried to walk around him on the grass verge.

“As he walked along the grass verge the defendant went over and punched the complainant in the mouth,” said Ms Knight.

Murray, who was armed with a knuckle duster, punched him for a second time, causing a cut to his victim’s nose which needed stitching, as he told him “he shouldn’t be allowed to walk the streets”.

“It was an unprovoked vigilante attack,” said Ms Knight.

Murray, who also admitted possessing an offensive weapon, told police in interview: “People like that should not be around Penywaun. If I wanted to hit him I would have killed him because he is a pervert."

“What you know about the complainant is neither here nor there. It is not for you to mete out justice – that is for the court to do."

Rotherham child-sex victim [alleged] confronts her alleged abuser in the street... but SHE is arrested by a van load of police

 

"A victim [sic] of Rotherham's child sex abuse scandal confronted a man she says groomed her - but was left shocked when she was the one arrested.

The woman was shocked when she saw the man walking through the town's centre on Friday [12/9/14] and decided to challenge him over the allegations.

But she was tackled by two police officers and pushed up against a wall during her 'thuggish' arrest, a witness has said."

"'The woman was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offences."

'She was taken to Main Street Police Station where she was detained and later released on police bail.'"

The Issue

The victim [sic] has not been identified

Clearly, the absence of a name, makes the date, and location, of any court appearance(s), difficult to ascertain; we required guidance.

On Saturday, 20th September, 2014, we contacted the police and were, ultimately, directed to a named,Team Leader, at South Yorkshire Police.

Following inquires, this person informed us, that, 'Division' were "not aware of an incident of Friday".

We also contacted the local court (23/9/14), but, they were not able to assist, in any way, without a written application.

Men who used gay website Grindr to ensnare would-be paedophiles jailed for four years each

"TWO men who used a gay website to ensnare would-be paedophiles and blackmail them have been jailed for four years each.

The pair posed as an under-aged boy to lure two users of the Grindr website to meet for sex.

But both victims were horrified when they met up instead with blackmailers Nathanael Foster, of Wheatstone Road, Gloucester and Adam Webb, of Kingsway , Quedgeley, who demanded £15,000 from one and £10,000 from the other to keep quiet about their paedophile interests.

One of the victims had £15,000 saved in an ISA and drew it out from the bank to give to the men after they stayed all night in his flat to ensure he paid up.

But the other did not have any money and when they suggested he should carry out a ram raid to get the cash he felt he had no alternative but to go to the police.

Foster and Webb, both 26, pleaded guilty to two charges of blackmail."
