"A prostitute activist who once posed naked with the dissident artist Ai Weiwei is leading a controversial campaign apparently offering sex to paedophiles [sic] to prevent them abusing children.

EU set to vote on blanket porn ban; internet freedoms at risk

"Summary: In a severe threat to online freedoms in the region, the European Parliament is set to vote in the next week on 'a ban on all forms of pornography in the media'.

The European Parliament will vote next Tuesday on a report that could lead to a blanket ban on pornography in any form of media, not limited to advertising, television, and radio, but also on the web.

In the process, it could have wide-ranging implications for freedom of expression in the 27 member state bloc.

Titled "Eliminating gender stereotypes in the EU" [woosh, because that is what it does, right?], the report, on the face of it, would allow the EU to help secure the rights for those across the gender spectrum, particularly women, who are objectified, and those in regions where gender roles are "shaped and imposed" by social influences, such as in the media and education."

U.S. Attorney announces new initiative to combat child porn

"U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett discusses new initiative targeting child porn offenders. Prosecutors recently charged five Indy-area men with child porn possession or distribution in January.

“Nothing is more important than the safety of our children, and that means that our policy on child pornography and child exploitation is quite simple: zero tolerance,” said U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett.

At first glance, the five men bear little resemblance to each other.

One is a 23-year-old from New Palestine. Another, a 42-year-old from Noblesville. The rest come from all over Indianapolis.

But all of them are now charged with possessing or distributing child porn — part of a widespread new initiative announced by the U.S. Attorney’s office Tuesday.

“Nothing is more important than the safety of our children, and that means that our policy on child pornography and child exploitation is quite simple: zero tolerance,” said U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett. “Zero tolerance to us means there is no acceptable amount of this type of behavior. Zero tolerance means that we don’t care if you were the producer of these disgusting materials. Zero tolerance means it doesn’t matter to us if you’re part of an international conspiracy or simply a conspiracy of want. Zero tolerance.”"

14-year-old girl steals mom’s husband, has baby with him

"A Chinese teen has reportedly had a lovechild with her own stepfather. The girl is now threatening her mother with court unless she divorces him.

The girl, named Fangting, started a love affair with her 34-year-old stepdad LG when she was only 14 years old, reported Jiangnan City Daily.

Fangting, who is now 16 years old, gave birth to a baby girl last year and demands that her mother Huang Changhong would divorce Liu so they could be together. To make matters worse, Huang and Liu also have a young son together."
