Girls as young as 11 are sexting and sending explicit pictures of themselves via social networks warn experts as schools are forced to deal with problem [sic] 'every day'
"Safeguarding Children [sic] Board heard 'each year it starts earlier and earlier'
Experts believe sexualised media and video games may be to blame [yeah, right]
One teacher said it has become 'a daily problem' in school
Pressure [haha]: Child protection experts warn young girls (posed by models) are being persuaded to send explicit images of themselves to boys
The practice of 'sexting' is getting more common with younger children involved every year, child protection experts [sic] have warned.
Increasing numbers of girls [no boys, eh?] are being persuaded [haha] to send boys [or girls] explicit images of themselves - but the photographs can often [sic] be used to blackmail them through sharing via Facebook and Blackberry messaging."

Children access porn sites from age SIX and begin flirting online at aged eight, according to study
"Children start watching porn on the internet from the age of six and will start flirting online when they are just eight-years-old, a study has revealed.
More than 19,000 parents worldwide took part in a survey, with data compiled using information on which sites they choose to block and which their children have access to regularly.
The study found that almost a quarter of children had at least one social network account by the time they were 12-years-old and that most lie about their age when creating their online profiles.
To join Facebook, for example, you have to be 13-years-old."

Young Swedes 'enriched' by porn and sex posing
"Watching pornography and exposing oneself sexually online can enrich young people's lives, a Swedish researcher has found, but doing so also carries risks.
"A lot of it is about the need to be seen, to get affirmation, and to get attention," Pernilla Nigård, a doctoral candidate at Malmö University, told The Local.
Earlier this week, Nigård presented a study based on interviews with young men about why they watch pornography and with young women about why they publish revealing pictures of themselves online.
Having previously worked as a school counselor, Nigård had seen first hand how young people were spending more time online, often engaging in activities related to sexual expression."
