Shy Keenan: Woman denies stalking and harassing campaigner

"Shy Keenan has campaigned to help [very debatable] child abuse victims

A woman has denied stalking and harassing child abuse campaigner Shy Keenan.

Ms Keenan, who lives near Colchester, Essex, is founder of The Phoenix Chief Advocates Consultancy, which helps victims of paedophiles [sic, in so many ways].

Penelope Mellor, 52, [redacted] Wolverhampton, is accused of posting "abusive" and "insulting" tweets about her.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges at Colchester Magistrates' Court.

Ms Mellor was bailed and is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 10 February.

Ms Keenan detailed her own experience [really?] of suffering sexual abuse in her autobiography, Broken. [ah yes, still interesting]

She began an anti-bullying campaign this year, following the death of her 14-year-old son. [not so quiet, during that terrible loss]

Ms Mellor is accused of sending 415 tweets between 19 October 2012 and 15 March 2013, that "either made reference to or was abusive and or insulting towards" Ms Keenan.

She is also accused of sending material to Ms Keenan's associates and posting material online "which was considered unacceptable as criticism and personal in nature"."

"A woman from Wolverhampton has been charged with stalking another woman who lives near Colchester.

Penny Mellor, 52, from Coven, Wolverhampton, was today

Thursday, October 17, charged with stalking Shy Keenan, who lives near Colchester.

Mellor has been released on police bail to appear before magistrates in Chelmsford on November 6."

Broken Truths? (Part 1)

Presently, there is a bit of a Twitter War, in progress, between The Sun's 'journalists', authors, public figures and company directors, Ms Shy Keenan and Ms Sara Payne (are you declaring your earnings, ladies, to those who need to know?), and a number of people, who are challenging Ms Keenan's version of reality, in regards to one of her books, 'Broken'.

Ms Keenan and Ms Payne, also seem to experiencing some confusion about the nature of 'stalking', in case law and Statute.

Now ... retired (?) police officer, Jim Gamble, is on the case; we are following the issue, with great interest.
