Frances Andrade 'traumatised’ by reliving abuse [sic] of 30 years ago
"That job, though, was to be done for her. Returning to teaching the violin, she met Jenevora Williams, a renowned singing teacher for choristers at St Paul’s and Westminster Abbey, and teacher-in-residence for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, from where she knew Brewer.
The pair became good friends but when Mrs Andrade confided in her what he had done all those years ago, Miss Williams took it upon herself to contact the police, saying that Brewer was still working with children and therefore she had a professional duty to report what she knew. In doing so, she had unwittingly set a chain of events in motion that were to have a tragic conclusion."

We should like you to reflect, on these two points, in particular, Jim (we will presume that the outcome of the case is based on reality) ...
"Andrade had not initiated the police investigation which led to the trial. Friends said she did not present herself as a "victim" and would have hated to be seen as such. They say she never wanted to give evidence against the Brewers."
No trial, Ms Andrade would still be alive, healthy and happy.
We suspect your vetting issue, refers to this ...
"Giving evidence, Brewer denied all of Andrade's allegations but admitted to an affair with a 17-year-old pupil at Chetham's in 1994. He resigned when the affair was discovered and the school said he had stepped down for "health reasons". Brewer went on to become the artistic director of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and has also directed the World Youth Choir. He served as an adjudicator in international competitions and in 2008 led BBC workshops for the programme Last Choir Standing."
Which was perfectly legal (and not rare), at the time, thus, should have no bearing on future employment (which was impeccable, as can be seen) or anything else.
Do you see why you and yours are so dangerous?
It is often about Doing The Right Thing, Not Doing Things Right.

Broken Truths? (Part 1)
Presently, there is a bit of a Twitter War, in progress, between The Sun's 'journalists', authors, public figures and company directors, Ms Shy Keenan and Ms Sara Payne (are you declaring your earnings, ladies, to those who need to know?), and a number of people, who are challenging Ms Keenan's version of reality, in regards to one of her books, 'Broken'.
Ms Keenan and Ms Payne, also seem to experiencing some confusion about the nature of 'stalking', in case law and Statute.
Now ... retired (?) police officer, Jim Gamble, is on the case; we are following the issue, with great interest.
Better have a look, Jim.

Tagged pensioner Rosemary Collier gets landmark ruling in G4S security breach case
"Ian Bartlett and Rosemary Collier and partner Ian Bartlett when they were both tagged
The law on criminals' security tagging is set to be strengthened... thanks to a Kent case involving a 68-year-old thief.
It comes after pensioner Rosemary Collier – who was electronically tagged – won a landmark court ruling over security giants G4S."
"A judge at Canterbury Crown Court ruled the G4S monitoring agreement has no force in criminal law – and threw out the case.
Now the Ministry of Justice has issued a statement saying it is strengthening the law in light of the case.
Judge Michael O'Sullivan said Collier had not breached the original court curfew order, which did not include a clause allowing G4S staff to make home visits to monitor its equipment."

Clutching At Oppressive Straws

Kansas bill would require police to report porn found during investigation of sex crimes
"Law enforcement officials would be required to report pornographic materials found during the investigation of sexual crimes under a bill discussed Tuesday in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
SB 92 could help support evidence of a link between pornography consumption and sexual violence, proponents said.
Recording the presence of pornography found during investigations — at the scene of the crime, in the home or vehicle of a suspect or in possession of a suspect — could provide new insight on the motivation behind sexual crimes, said Phillip Cosby, state director of the American Family Association of Kansas and Missouri."

Tories Admit Defeat In Bid To Scrap Human Rights Act
"Human rights campaigners celebrated today after the Con-Dem government admitted they have failed in their bid to scrap the Human Rights Act.
Prime Minister David Cameron wanted to replace the act with a British Bill of Rights which he hoped would claw back justice powers from Europe.
But the £700,000 commission set up by Mr Cameron in 2011 to establish whether the new bill could be established was derailed by infighting among MPs and failed to reach an unanimous conclusion.
Two legal experts on the commission warned scrapping the Human Rights Act could be “possibly even dangerous, with unintended consequences.”"
