Sun crime reporter pleads not guilty over alleged payments for stories
"Anthony France faces charge of aiding and abetting police officer in committing misconduct in public office.
Sun crime reporter Anthony France at Westminster magistrates' court last year.
The Sun’s crime reporter has pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to committing a crime in relation to allegations over payments to a police officer for stories.
Anthony France, 41, faced a single count of aiding and abetting PC Timothy Edwards to commit an offence of misconduct in public office between March 2008 and July 2011.
France was released on unconditional bail. He will be tried on 11 May."
