Porn site owner ordered to pay damages over paedophile claim
"Court rules against 'revenge porn' site owner Hunter Moore who had falsely claimed the CEO of Bullyville.com James McGibney was a paedophile.
Hunter Moore, the founder of a 'revenge porn' website, has been ordered to pay $250,000 in damages for defamation by a US district court in Nevada.
Moore, who was found to be making false claims about James McGibney, the chief executive of an anti-bullying website Bullyville.com, was ordered to pay the sum to the executive.
In addition, the judge has also ordered Moore to pay $11,581 in attorneys' fees and $1,588.50 in other costs related with the case."
